The Rod Farrar Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the remarkable sponsors, players, volunteers, and supporters who made our first-ever fundraising event, the 2024 Extra Mile Recovery Golf Classic, a tremendous success! With your incredible support, we raised approximately $12,000—an achievement that will have a lasting impact on individuals taking their next steps toward a life of recovery and stability.
As a foundation committed to easing the transition for individuals moving into sober living environments after completing a 30-day residential inpatient program, we are thrilled to have reached this milestone since our inception in November of 2023. This funding allows us to provide vital support like rent assistance, transportation aid, prescription medications, and grocery assistance—resources that make all the difference as people rebuild their lives in sobriety.
With 18 teams joining us on the course, the spirit of camaraderie, generosity, and commitment was inspiring. None of this would have been possible without the steadfast backing of our sponsors. Your contributions have not only raised funds but also uplifted the hearts of those who need a helping hand on their recovery journey.
